Oseque Korean Enzyme Powder Facial Wash Review 2020 | Waterless, Travel & Environmentally-Friendly
The Top Line:
Buy. We LOVE Oseque Korean Enzyme Powder Facial Wash. The enzyme powder is incredible at cleaning out dead skin cells and impurities, face feels softly exfoliated and clean. And for how little you need to lather for each wash, 1 bottle goes a long way.
The Breakdown:
Cost & Products: $16.93 for one (1.76oz / 50g) bottle on Amazon
How ‘Clean’ Is This? So-so. It does come in plastic packaging, but it is water-free (less heavy, lower carbon footprint shipping) and a little bit goes a long way - this bottle will last!
Packaging: Plastic bottle unfortunately.
Purchasing & Shipping: We purchased on Amazon.
What’s Your Impact? Water-free, and a bottle that will last you a while (we think 70-100 washes).
The Experience
Context: We change up our face washes — from moisturizing to exfoliating options, and for exfoliations we’re a fan of enzyme-based exfoliants over a scrub (or a ‘mechanical’ exfoliant) as scrubs are more abrasive and can be sometimes damaging to your skin.
Lathers nicely & looks pretty in our bathroom
Smells lovely
You need VERY LITTLE powder (too much actually makes it difficult to use)
Skin feels smoother but not dry afterwards
We really love this facial wash - this will be going on the auto-repurchase list!
The Good:
✔ Waterless product (lower carbon footprint)
✔ Effective: skin feels smoother and softer afterwards
✔ You need a TEENY bit of powder to lather up, this bottle will last a while!
✔ Smells lovely
✔ Looks pretty in our bathroom
The Bad:
✗ Would be great to be able to buy the refill powder and not need a new bottle each time
✗ Be careful of spilling too much powder!

We're on a mission to reduce our personal carbon footprint with small, hopefully easy, changes in our home to fight against climate change. This means we're looking for products that may be all natural, ideally zero waste, reusable or compostable -- while still being affordable!
