DOKIKO Windshield Washer Tablets | Plastic Windshield Washer Fluid Concentrate
DOKIKO Windshield Washer Tablets: We have been refilling our windshield washer fluid using these low-waste tablets. Here is our review.
The Top Line:
BUY. We think the simplicity of the tablet formulation of DOKIKO Windshield Washer Fluid Concentrate is fantastic. The tablets are easy to use and dissolve really quickly in water. We also love that we don’t have to drive to buy another giant plastic jug again! Note: we are not advocating that the ingredients are better than traditional washers; we simply love the drastic plastic reduction because of the concentrated formula. As a huge bonus, the tablets are SO much cheaper t AND easier to store than traditional windshield washer fluid.
The Breakdown:
Cost & Products: 50 to 300 tablet options, costing $7.99 to $25.99
How ‘Clean’ Is This? We do not know the composition of the tablets. We do know that there is no anti-freeze in the product, which means this will freeze in your car below 0 degrees Celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Packaging: The packaging is small wrappers in a zip lock bag. Not great, but each tablet is saving one huge plastic bottle from being created.
Purchasing & Shipping: Amazon
Good to know: We have a question out to the seller/producer to let us know what is the component of the products. We will write back as soon as we hear an answer
What’s Your Impact? While the product packaging isn’t perfect, he huge impact here is the saving of giant, thick plastic bottles used for windshield wiper fluid.
The Good:
✔ Saves on plastic jugs of windshield washer fluid.
✔ Compact and easy to store many tablets in your car in a pinch
✔ SO affordable compared to traditional windshield washer fluid
✔ Works just as well as any other wash
The Bad:
✗ Unknown ingredients (TBD)
✗ Still plastic packaging (to keep product dry)
The Experience
Context: We use windshield washer fluid ALL the time now, since we live in car-culture city. We wanted a better solution rather than lugging around giant plastic bottles of, essentially, upgraded water to refill our tank. Using these tablets has been a breeze. Here is our experience with DOKIKO windshield washer tablets:
We reused a bottle that we had in the trunk so that we can store any extra in the car.
The tablet couldn’t be easier to pop in and fill with water.
Under 10minutes, the tablet had dissolved.
The instructions say that you can put the tablet right in the tank and then pour water in it: we are chickens so instead we pre-mix in the bottle and keep the empty in the car for future use.
Bugs, dust, and other stuff is gone, just like any other windshield washer fluid.
NOTE: this is NOT anti-freeze or a de-icer. The instructions state that you CAN turn it into a de-icer if necessary.
The Cost
We compared DOKIKO Windshield washer tablets to standard bottles you would find at a convenience store, big box retailer or online, like ShopPro, Prestone Summer Washer Fluid, Rain-X or Super Tech Summer Forumla.
Money Report: Holy Moly. DOKIKO windshield washer fluid concentrate tablets blow the competition out of the water, even at the smallest bag of 50.

We're on a mission to reduce our personal carbon footprint with small, hopefully easy, changes in our home to fight against climate change. This means we're looking for products that may be all natural, ideally zero waste, reusable or compostable -- while still being affordable!
